The human body is made up of millions of cells that are constantly
working. Cells: The Universe Inside Us gives visitors a chance to see
what happens inside their body every day. Walk through a giant cell,
perform virtual experiments, make protein shapes with your shadow and
more! The exhibit will be on display Jan. 28 to Aug. 26, 2012.
Admission to The Health Museum is $6 for children ages 3-11 and seniors
65 and over, and $8 for adults ages 12-64. All children ages 2 and under
are free. Tickets are available online at thehealthmuseum.org. Discounts
can only be redeemed at the museum ticket desk. For group discount rates

The Health Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and
on Sunday, Noon to 5 p.m.
The museum is closed on Mondays and on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
ABOUT THE HEALTH MUSEUM
The John P. McGovern Museum of Health & Medical Science, also known as
The Health Museum, is a member institution of the world-renowned Texas
Medical Center and is located in the heart of Houston’s Museum District
at 1515 Hermann Drive Houston, TX 77004. Recent additions to the museum
include You: The Exhibit, a highly interactive look at the physical,
psychological and future you, and the McGovern 4D Theater, Houston’s
first 4D theater, where 3D films and environmental effects like wind,
rain and fog to create a memorable experience. The John P. McGovern
Museum of Health and Medical Science is an interactive and entertaining
