Inwood Partnership's Yellow Bucket Project promotes business litter
cleanup
The Near Northwest Houston’s Weed & Seed
Neighborhood Revitalization Sub-Committee has been working on
revitalization, code enforcement, trash reduction, infrastructure
improvements, improved housing conditions and other general neighborhood
clean-up programs.
One of the latest projects is simply called the “Yellow
Bucket Project”. The sub-committee was successful in getting 24
businesses to sign an agreement pledging to pick up litter around their
business. To help with the effort five gallon yellow buckets and EZ
pickup sticks were distributed to businesses along Antoine.
Recently driving down Antoine a committee member
spotted one of the business sponsors using the yellow bucket and stick.
