Heights Area Chamber To Hold Chamber
Expo Extravaganza, July 27
HOUSTON, TX – May 19, 2010 – On Tuesday, July
27th, the Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce will present a
Chamber Expo Extravaganza featuring “Heights” of Dining,” “Idol
of the Heights” Singing Contest, Business Table Displays,
Demonstrations and a Health Fair.
The event will feature food,
networking, business displays, demonstrations and fabulous door prizes.
The Expo will take place at the SPJST Lodge located at 1435 Beall Street
@ West 15th street in the Heights. Admission is $5 (which entitles
adults to two beverages) $7.50 at the door, and the Expo will take place
from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Display booths are available and space
can be reserved by calling the Heights Chamber at 713-861-6735. Members
can reserve tables for $150 and non-members can reserve a table for
$200.
The “Idol of the Heights” finals
will be live on-stage, and it follows rounds of preliminary competition.
Finalists of the Idol contest will compete for cash prizes of $300, $200
and $100, and judging will be done by radio personalities and deejays.
Area restaurants will be providing samples and tastes
of their fine foods. Expected participants include all types of cuisine,
one of which is sure to please your palate.
Health displays and information will be available,
including eyesight checks, information regarding hearing aids and much
more.
The public is invited to this event and additional
publicity and news releases will be distributed to the media leading up
to the event.
