Waltrip High School’s 50th anniversary celebration planned for Oct. 15

Houston ISD opened S.P. Waltrip High School during the
fall of 1960. The alumni are planning a 50th anniversary celebration of
the opening of the school October 15th, 16th and 17th, 2010. A website
for information and registration is now operating and can be found at www.waltrip50.org.
It will be a fun event for alumni and their families. And, we hope the
event will be a basis for future fundraising events to further assist
