Permanent Painting opens dealership in Houston

Permanent Painting has opened its first dealership in Houston, providing a product that it claims will "Break the Painting Cycle" for homeowners. As its name implies, the product offers a permanent, custom-colored paint job with a lifetime warranty.

Trenton Kinnebrew is the operator and co-owner of the new dealership. He is a native Houstonian and a former Marine who has previously worked in construction and remodeling. He and his uncle have partnered in the business to bring the Permanent Painting System to the Houston market. The office in northwest Houston will serve all of the city and outlying areas.

Permanent Painting has its roots in Louisiana as a regional venture but is blossoming into a nationwide business with locations in Alexandria, Lafayette, Shreveport, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lake Charles, Dallas, Florida, New Jersey, Denver and South Carolina. "Our dealership is new to the Houston area but we have been doing this for over seven years in Louisiana. We have also just recently opened up a dealership in the Florida panhandle, and hopefully by the end of the year there will be 20 to 30 locations up and going nationally. We look forward to servicing the Houston market."

Kinnebrew explains how the Permanent Painting System is different than ordinary painting. "Our product consist of three steps: the bonding primer, the sealant and the topcoat. The key to Permanent Painting's product is the primer. The primer is the foundation, as if you were building a house. It penetrates the substrate, and the topcoat is about 10 times thicker than ordinary paint. It's very tough and durable and will give your home that fresh painted look for years to come."

"All of the products we carry are environmentally friendly and can be applied to almost all materials such as Hardi Plank, stucco, siding and wood with the exception of roofs, floors and corrosive metals (metals that rust). For metal surfaces such as wrought iron, we simply use a rust-preventative paint." He says there are over 1800 stock colors available, and any color samples can be matched with their computerized formulas.

"The paint lasts a lifetime because it is similar to Gortex in that it's both waterproof and breathable, and does not mildew. That's extremely important when it comes to exterior paint. Our products have been tested by DL Laboratories in New York, an independent laboratory for over seventy years, which specializes in coatings, sealants and waterproofing, and these qualities have been verified. It even passes a 98 mile-per-hour, wind driven rain test for 24 hours."

Kinnebrew says, "Permanent Painting typically costs two to three times what the average paint job does. According to the national average people will paint their homes every three years, so Permanent Painting will save you money. When you compare the options of paint, vinyl siding or permanent painting, we make the choice simple with the best products on the market today."
