Clinic and pharmacy join forces to provide affordable health care
The Ella After Hours Clinic is now open for business at 2499 Ella
Boulevard. The aim of the clinic is to provide affordable health care
with convenient hours for those who work. The clinic offers urgent care
and minor surgery so that patients can avoid the long waits of a
hospital emergency room. In addition to regular doctor visits and
physical exams, the clinic can do lab tests and x-rays.
Dr. Raul Sanchez is the practicing physician at the clinic. He has been
in private and family practice for 34 years. He was previously with the
Cypress Physicians Association and the MacGregor Medical Association of
Houston.
Walk-ins are welcome at the clinic but those with appointments will be
given priority. The clinic is open six days a week from noon until 8:30
pm. Medicaid and Medicare are accepted as well as most insurance.
Payment can also be in cash or by credit card. For more information call
the clinic at 713-880-4111.
Fulton Pharmacy has been in business since 1996. It started at 4000
Fulton Street in Houston and later moved to Airline Drive. Now Fulton
Pharmacy has conveniently moved to 2499 Ella Boulevard, Suite A, next to
the Ella After Hours Clinic.
The pharmacist and president of the company is Kurian Bose. He says the
Fulton Pharmacy was featured in the Houston Chronicle business section
in 2000 as the fastest pharmacy in town, with zero misfills. “The
maximum wait time in this Pharmacy is 10 minutes,” says Bose. “We make a
commitment to the customers we serve so they leave the pharmacy happy
and fully knowledgeable about all aspects of their medicines. We care
about our customers. We answer their questions and explain the
instructions in their own language.”
Bose assures all his customers that even though the pharmacy has moved,
nothing will change other than the location. “We are the same pharmacy,
same pharmacist and everybody else will be the same. The new phone
number is 713-861-4300 and I wish to see all of our customers at our new
location.”
