Salon Firdous creates unique styles to fit the personality
Salon Firdous, a new upscale salon at 2055 Westheimer at S. Shepherd
Drive, is celebrating its grand opening this month. Owners Dee and
Brooke are a husband and wife team who are both experienced stylists.
They previously owned two very successful salons in Boston, and recently
decided to relocate to Texas. Brooke, who is a native Texan, explains
“You’re born in Texas, you die in Texas!”
Dee has over 20 years’ experience as a stylist and has been a salon
owner for 15 years. Both are color experts and prefer the Framesi
Italian Color Line. Framesi has been the world’s leading expert in cream
hair color, which is conditioning for the hair. The color is composed of
a vegetable coconut oil base and contains very low amounts of ammonia.
Brooke and Dee both believe in using only the highest quality products
on their customers and have chosen Framesi, they say, because of their
high standards for their products.
The philosophy at Salon Firdous is personalization of style. The
stylists realize that everyone has their own unique beauty and look, and
cannot be fitted into just any trend or popular style. Each client’s
salon experience is tailored to individual needs and personal identity.
Dee and Brooke are experts in creating unique looks utilizing cut, color
and hair care that best fit each individual. They also specialize in
Keratin Treatments by Coppola and custom hair and scalp treatments.
Their goal is the maintenance of healthy hair for all their customers,
because there is “no such thing as beautiful, damaged hair.”
Both Dee and Brooke are eager to please their customers with their
expertise and service. They have a unique way of accommodating their
customers’ busy schedules by booking late appointments from 6:30 p.m. to
8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Their normal hours are Monday through
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday 12 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call
