CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare Announces Opening of Houston’s East End St. Mary’s Clinic

Houston, Texas, August 25, 2011 - CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare
announces the opening of St. Mary’s Clinic. As part of the Healthy
Living Neighborhood Campaign, the clinic opens as an addition to the
healthcare ministries who serve the disadvantaged, low-income population
of Houston and provide an option to expensive hospital emergency visits.
Annually the Foundation serves over 45,000 children, women, and men.
Sister Rosanne Popp, CHRISTUS Medical Director & Primary Physician of
St. Mary’s Clinic will diagnose and treat: diabetes, high blood
pressure, cholesterol, thyroid, kidney, liver, heart, gastritis,
arthritis, depression, menstrual problems, back and joint pain, colds,
bronchitis and other acute and chronic health problems.
Health prevention checks including: well women exams, school
immunizations, blood tests for cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid, liver,
kidney, prostate, pap smears. Referrals for eye check-ups, mammograms
and other specialty and social services such as, assistance with
obtaining medications free or at low cost.
St. Mary’s Clinic is open Monday – Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,
appointments and walk-in’s are welcome. The address is 2120 S. WAYSIDE,
