Library renovations included the creation of a new Teen Space within the existing Teen Area to help noise reduction after school; a new glass wall was built to provide a quiet reading area for adults; aluminum wall panels were installed on the interior main corridor and the Information Desk; a new slat wall area was installed in the lobby, including a flat screen monitor and a display for Library handouts and books; new book shelves were added in the main corridor for Holds, New Books, and DVDs, making customer self-checkout an easier process; and, a wall was installed between two meeting rooms to replace a divider partition. In addition, the renovated Library will have new computer chairs, a refinished circulation desk, refinished wooden children’s chairs and tables, reupholstered lounge and table seating, and repainted interior walls.

Bailey Architects, Inc. completed the renovation design and Brave/Architecture completed the Teen Room design; Hallmark/CBIC was the contractor for the project.
